• Basic analytics: pages visited, device type, and approximate location, used to understand traffic and improve the site.

2. How we use your information

• Matching you with an artist — the core of the service. Your tattoo idea, style, budget, and contact details are shared with the artist(s) we match you with, and only as needed to arrange your session.
• Communicating with you about your request, deposit, or match status.
• Processing deposits and matching-product payments.
• Improving the website and understanding visitor demand (e.g., which cities and styles are most requested).

3. How we share your information

• Matched artists: your name, contact details, and tattoo request so they can reach you and prepare.
• Service providers: Shopify (website and checkout), payment processors, and email delivery services — each bound to handle data only for the service they provide.
• Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or to protect against fraud or misuse.
• We never sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

4. Data retention and security

We keep intake and match records only as long as needed to operate the service, handle follow-ups and reviews, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission is perfectly secure.

• Opt out of marketing messages at any time; transactional messages about an active match or deposit will still be sent.

6. Age requirement

Show-Me Ink is for adults 18 and older only, consistent with Missouri tattoo law. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we will delete it if discovered.
